At the “Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance International Art Exhibition”, members of the New Jersey Legislature Condemn CCP Persecution
From March 21st to 23rd,2018, New Jersey Falun Dafa Association held its first local " Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance International Art Exhibition" in Trenton, the capital city of the state of New Jersey. Members of the New Jersey Senate and General Assembly, visitors and staff visited the exhibition. In addition to admiring the exquisite work of the exhibition, they also thank the organizers for the opportunity to learn more about the truth of Falun Gong through the exhibition, and expressed support for standing up against the persecution that occurred in China. The "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance International Art Exhibition" is an exhibition of fine arts created by artists who cultivate Falun Gong. It shows the spiritual pursuits of all ethnic groups in practicing Falun Gong and the beauty that Falun Dafa brings to people’s lives. It also includes works that expose the persecution that has occurred in China for 18 years. The New Jersey Legislature consists of two Houses: a 40-member Senate and an 80-member General Assembly. The exhibition took place when the State Assembly was in session. As people came and went in the State House, they often have the opportunity to study the paintings, talk to the exhibition guides and learn about the truth about Falun Gong. New Jersey’s 15th Legislative District representative Reed Gusciora remarked, “This art exhibition conveyed a powerful message and demonstrated what the Chinese Communist regime did to people with different opinions including Falun Gong. People should have freedom of cultivation, freedom of belief, and freedom of expression, which should not be restricted by any government. I express my strong support for efforts to make China more open and allow people to truly enjoy freedom and human rights.”
