Congressman Payne Supported the Petition to end Forced Organ Harvesting in China
New Jersey Falun Gong practitioners were invited by the Township of Hillside to attend the annual Hillside Health Fair on October 16 at the Hillside High School. This is the 17th year Falun Gong practitioners teach Hillside residents meditation and exercises at the health fair. This time, they also collected signatures for the urgent appeal to end the Forced Organ Harvesting in China. Congressman Payne Jr., a Hillside High School alumnus and a guest of this year’s health fair, also signed the petition. In fact, Congressman Payne Jr. co-sponsored Resolution 343 that condemns the practice of state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting in the People’s Republic of China and calls for an immediate end to the practice. Mayor Angela Garretson also signed the petition.
